My Wife has wanted to see the southern islands,Aruba, St. Lucia ect. We had to elect with the 11 day cruise because of the distance from Ft. Lauderdale and for me it was a little long. As Always Royal makes arriving and leaving all ports easy and convenient. The staff of the ship was excellent except for the medical facility. Our cabin, a junior suite was awesome with a full bath and walk-in closet and plenty of room and a big balcony. Only complaint would be the very slow wifi and very limited tv selections, this ship I was told did not have the interactive service which we enjoyed in the past. The Wind Jammer buffet was not as good as in the past and they seemed to start to shut it down early at night. The main pool is very small and the hottubs are always in use. It was funny to see the fully equipped life guards standing and watching you in 2 feet of water but we were told that its now the law and good I guess if you have kids of which there were very few on this trip. I thinks most of the shops on the ship are useless and there are the duty free shops at the ports and the shops take up alot of room that could be used for better purposes. The library sucked, worst I've seen on a RC ship. Also the drinks, mainly beer is very expensive, but its a cruise ship. I tell people overall that nobody knows ships better than Royal and their staff is top notch.
Better than any hotel room I ever stayed in, our attendant Colon was outstanding.
Took a private tour with Shawn to the volcanos and Pitons, a perfect day.
