This was my second cruise, and the first Viking cruise for the family member with whom I was traveling. This was the happiest, most relaxed, most exciting time I could possibly have imagined! Our stewards were incredibly attentive to everything we wanted or needed; the staff throughout the ship were wonderful in helping us find what we needed or suggesting ideas that we would possibly be interested in. The tour guides were nothing short of amazing, each so bathed in knowledge for the areas they supported. And then, there was the food!! Oh . My . Goodness!! No matter which restaurant we chose to eat in on the ship, the food was skillfully prepared to satisfaction. We decided to stay over 2 nights in Rome at the end of the cruise, a wise decision. We had a guide pick us up at the ship and spent 4 hours touring Rome under a great deal of his suggestion and guidance. We toured the Vatican with a docent (DO this!!). All in all, I can't wait for another opportunity to sail with Viking ~~!
