  • Destination: the Southern Caribbean
  • Cabin Type: Ocean View Balcony

My husband and I planned this cruise a while ago. We have never been to the southern Caribbean so this was a great itinerary. We very much enjoyed the ports that we went to and would recommend to anyone wanting to explore it.

We are very loyal to Royal and love what all they have to offer.

Aruba, Bonaire and curacao were 3 of the best ports that we have been to, and might go back in the future. The ship Navigator was in decent shape and the crew was great!!

The only issue we had as far as the ship was concerned was that it was FREEZING all the time. I understand having it cold but it was a little much, and my husband is never cold and he was shivering at certain times on the ship.

The food was great in the MDR, as well as all the shows that we saw. The cabin was in great order and our room attendant Nicholas was on top of our every need.

There were two formal nights which were very nice. The captain was informative to us and kept us in the loop with weather, the course we were taking etc.

Overall we were very pleased with the entire cruise and everything that came along with it.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

The cabin was in great shape and very cozy. The storage was just right for us considering it was a 9 day cruise we still had plenty of storage. There was a fridge which was a bonus. the bathroom was great and our room steward was on top of it all!

We did have a problem with the parking garage in Miami that we used. They were located off 1st street and had no signs so it was difficult to locate them, most guys there did not speak English, there was nothing mentioned anywhere on website nor when we made the reservation about trucks not being recommended as parking garage was overbooked and cars we everywhere so we could barely maneuver our truck. etc

We have been to this port a few times and love it! It is very relaxing ere and clean. This time however we did not get off the ship and enjoyed some quiet time on board for a change.

This was our first time here and loved it! There was a lot to see and do and want to go back! The people there were very friendly and it was pretty clean. There was a lot of shopping to be had as well.

THis is now in our top 3 places that we have been to via cruise. The water was the most beautiful color terquios and clear and clean you could see down to the bottom. The people were friendly here as well and it was clean overall. Our snorkeling experience was perfect as it was my first time doing so. We took a water taxi over to a private island and they drop you off and help you off the boat. They come around every hour so you can stay and lay on the beach for added time if you desire. The shopping wasn't bad either but not a lot of that.

We got off the ship and walked around this huge place! There is SO much shopping here and the moving bridge was awesome!!! Again they were very friendly here and helpful. Only issue we had is there isn't enough time spent here we would have loved to have had a couple extra hours to explore some more.
