We chose this cruise because we mainly cruise with NCL and we wanted to experience the Panama Canal. We live in Florida so there was no exploring before we left the port. The embarkation was smooth although we were disappointed that there were three times as many agents checking in Platinum and above while the line was very long for all others trying to check in. We are Gold members. The ship had a recent refurbish and they did an excellent job. The cabin was as to be expected. No surprises there. The dining was also as usual. The renamed Aqua restaurant was very quant and homey for a dinner later on in the evening. The entertainment was average on the stage. The sound was too loud and drowned out the singers in many instances. The service at all venues we visited was outstanding at all locations. We made more friends of staff than ever before. The excursions were good as well and most were worth cost we paid. Going through the Canal was the most Awesome experience ever. I hope everyone has a chance to experience it!

We did not travel with children and there were very few on this two week trip which was a bonus for us.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

For us this cabin was perfect. Mid ship and not too low or too high for the noise level. We were very close to the elevators without having the noise of hearing them and also close to the beautiful staircase that led to the Atrium where a the front desk was as well as the late night music was.
