I chose this cruise because it was the week I was able to get off from work and out of NYC. I did one cruise with Royal Caribbean out of Bayonne and loved it. Norwegian cannot compare to Royal Caribbean. We were disappointed with the Escape. It started with long check in lines and once we got to the buffet no seats! We walked around with plates of food and no where to sit! Way too many people to accommodate and some very rude. Staff in the buffet waiting tables not very helpful. We went up to get most of our drinks because by time someone came around it was too late.

Dinning room staff and food was good but no lobster night or farewell dinner. The dinning room couldn’t compare to Royal Caribbean’s liberty of the seas.

The ports were ok with Port Canaveral being a waste of time. The private island great stir up cay took way too long waiting for tender boats to take you to the island and was disorganized and beach and water too crowded. Some of the staff serving drinks ignored us and we had to go to another service station to get drinks. Bahamas was nice but 8-5:30 just left you wishing for more.

Nice cabin loved having a balcony to get away from all the people.
