We where on the jade from January 15 to February 6 on a back to back Cruise in the Mediterranean cruise. The day we arrived from Canada we where handed a letter that stated that 8% of the people on board where sick with the norovirus. Having traveled that far we decided to go on board. The Cabins where not ready and delayed till 4 pm. we went to our Cabin to find it not being ready. We went for a tea than returned at 4.50 pm and our cabin BA class still not ready!After returning from the muster call the cabin was made up but no water glasses anywhere. Salsa from the former guest in the fridge dirty windows I cleaned them. 2 days after we met the room Stewart mumbling an excuse. Big turn off and it never got better. After 5 days of hand sprays and don't touch anything rules we got sick with that virus, after a long hard walking to the road in Funchal, no ground transport, that took all of our energy and weakened our immune system .The food was 3rd world slapped on your plate, no trays to carry anything, line ups for water tea coffee everywhere no table service, you must for every spoon toothpicks salt,pepper, you name it you where not aloud to touch anything on your own. Dining room is the pits, first waiter could not find our table after 3 follow me! Second night on the corner getting drinks spilled over the chairs. Worst breakfast ever!! Order eggs easy over ham and country potatoes, nice and simple! I got two hard cooked eggs the smallest pieces of ham I ever seen 1 sq inch and no potatoes! On a cruise ship in the dining room. The room service never got better NO TIPS! After 21 days of that treatment and no touch anything getting your hands sprayed a 100 times a day that cruise was not a cruise it was a disaster! That ship is sick from inside out, i have send a couple of letters to them NCL and have not gotten a reply from NCL. Stay away from this Ship it guarantees you to be sick, disgusted to the ninths ZINTRON
