We chose it for the itinerary. We also chose it for the Ship. We cruised a couple of years ago on this ship, and loved it! We live in Arizona so going to New England is a breath of fresh air! We love going to all the ports. Unfortunately we missed the St. John port, and was truly disappointed. Found out when we got home, the Anthem of the Seas on Royal had the same intineary, and they DID get to go to St. John. Then we were really disappointed.

Tried the Crown Grill for dinner this time 'round. Wow! That is a must. The best food, and service. Make that a must do on your next cruise.

The spa and the Enclave was a big plus. Enjoyed the spa experience tremendously!

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin ME

Lots of room, nice size bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Balcony could be a little larger but doable.

Port Reviews

New York (Manhattan)

It's NY! Everything is good! Go in a day or two earlier and enjoy the city. Get to the Pier earlier than later..it gets very crowed.

Newport

Rhode Island is a beautiful state. We'd been there before so we walked around the town, and visited the places we did before that we liked. Try The Moorings. Great "Chowdah", and fun bar time!

Boston

Took the Hop on Hop Off. Took you all around Boston so you get a view of what's what. If you've never been to Boston, that would be a great place to begin your visit. We did go to the North End (Italian section) for coffee, and pastry (Modern Pastry on Hanover)

Bring your walking shoes...it's a great town to discover!

Bar Harbor

Darling town! Try Side Street Cafe (off Cottage Street) for your lobster roll!

Great walking, and picture taking. Also Ollie's Trolly to go to Cadillac Mountain.

Saint John (New Brunswick)

Had the excursion booked, but captain decided he wasn't going to this port. Major disappointment! The one place we were really looking forward to. Princess should have offered a 20% discount on a future cruise like they have in the past for the inconvenience but failed to do at this point. On this day we had a sea day.

Halifax

Lots of history in this town. Take the tour of Peggy's Cove, and the Titanic history.

Very interesting. The pier is a good place to walk along, as well. Really good Maritime museum.
