This is my 3rd trip with RCI and they were all fantastic. the staff , the ship and the food were all great. Getting on board was a breeze , i think it took 45 minutes from the front door of the terminal to getting on board. The first day in port canaveral was a little cold for staying out side on deck, we did stay until the ship pulled out of port.We spent a few hours walking the ship and having a few drinks along with a snack from the windjammer. We ate in Portafino's and Chop's Grill and it was well worth the extra money. We did the My time dining and that worked out great as well. The only thing was after 10 pm you are very limited to places to eat. We took a nap after a nice day in Ocho Rios, it was about 9:30 pm and they wouldn't let us in the main dining room and there was nothing at the windjammer, so we had some pizza. The Windjammer should stay open later or open it back up for a midnight buffet. We met a lot of very nice people on board. People from Scotland, London and Canada. The casino paid out ( thank you casino royale lol ) and we closed the Crypt night club 5 of the 7 nights . Cranston the bartender at the crypt was awesome!! a big shout out to Cranston from St Vincent!!, thanks for the great drinks and the good times . We did not get to see The cayman islands due to high winds there was no tender to the island . That was a little dissapointing because i really wanted to see that place. The captain found us some nice weather and it turned out to be a great day at sea with perfect weather for the pool .We didn't get to see all the shows but the few shows we did see they were all done well. the QUEST show was hysterical. The criuse director Alan was great also. some say the royal promanade was like a shopping mall , i have to say, it was to a point, but it was beautiful and always entertaining. We had a balcony room on the 9th deck that was more then big enough for the both of us and the cabin attendant was great .The room was spotless and the mini bar was always stocked. I used 3 bottles of water and was never charged for it,, thanks RCI. The only thing i feel they can do better is LOWER the cost of the drinks and keep the Windjammer open late, bring back the midnight buffet or something.there was over 700 kids on this ship and you would never know this. I would recomend this trip to anyone and we are thinking of taking the same ship next year to do the eastern. We will probabaly go the end of march to hit better weather in florida. coming home from the last port Cozumel Mexico it got cold very fast , the last day was an at sea day and it was cold ,windy and rainy :( however , it was better then NJ where we had over 2 feet of now and ice lol. I recomend to everyone, wake up early and go to bed late,, enjoy each and every moment and get out there !! Enjoy

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

In the cabin was great, the cabin was over 200 square feet with a nice balcony. This is more then enough room to keep your clothes , sleep and get ready to go out.The TV was a nice flat screen with a lot of channels of the ship and the ships location and speeds there also were few channels of basic TV.
