We chose this cruise because we wanted to visit Iceland, the inclusion of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Guernsey were a bonus.
We had recently cruised on the Infinity and experienced a few issues. This cruise was better but there are still a few niggling problems.
We dined in the Grand Cuvee restaurant and also some of the specialist restaurants. The service in Grand Cuvee was fantastic, the food was okay. Dollar, our server, was attentiveas was her assistant, Juan, they made the meal experience better. I am not a fan of sweet desserts so always go for cheese and biscuits, this was disappointing as it was a meagre plate of dreadful cheese and some cheap biscuits. We asked for Cheddar and were then served with the plastic cheese squares normally put on burgers.
As for the speciality dining Murano is undoubtedly the best restaurant I have ever eaten in and that is a lot. Fantastic service and food to die for. Similarly the Tuscan Grill is terrific, smae excellent service and food. We also had dinner at Qsine, oh dear! It is a stupid idea to use iPads to order food especialyy when they do not all work. The food was good but it took an age to eat as it came in little bits.
Breakfast in Oceanview was an experience, the food was usually luke warm. Many people complained about this but were ignored.
The only other grioe was disembarkation in ports, it took a long time when you visited some locations particularly ReyKjavik where it was a 45 minute queue.
The shore excursions were very good, well organised (but over-priced). The entertainment was good with a variety of different entertainers.
The positives outweigh the negatives.
Clean and well presented. The layout is good and the storage space above the bed is brilliant.
Not much to review, we arrived and got on the ship.
Excellent tour, Walking Tour and Pub, well woth doing but you need to be fit.
Lovely place, shame we went on a Sunday when much of it was closed.
Beautiful city we did the City Sightseeing bus tour on our own.
Quaint town or city, very pretty. We did nothing except walk through the town to the stunning cathedral.
Fantastic way to see the best sights of the local area of the capital. Highly recommended, it was a long but worthwhilke tour.
