We went on this cruise to take our family to Alaska. My sister had sailed with NCL prior to and said it was good. This was our second cruise this year, having cruised on a different cruise line, Royal Caribbean, which was a great experience.

Our embarkation went smoothly enough, considering the amount of people getting on.

The overall condition of the ship was ok. A few of the doors leading out to the deck weren't working correctly and had to be repaired. It appeared that the engines were also in need of repair or maintenance . While in port at Juneau, the ship was smoking out the harbor. We work for Caterpillar and could tell there was an issue with these units.

We were supposed to have received a floor to ceiling window. The bed wasn't very comfortable

Port Reviews

Victoria

We've been to Victoria before. It was nice walking around town, the flowers and streets were nice to revisit.

Glacier Bay

While cruising around the bay, there was a narrative of what we should observe and actually saw. A chunk of glacier slid off, which we were able to capture.
