We sailed on Carnival Sunshine 8/18/18-8/26/18 to the Eastern Caribbean with my Sister,her husband,my nephew , his wife ,and their 3 year old daughter The embarkation process was well organized and smooth We were onboard by 12;30 PM so did a little exploring and had a drink and lunch while waiting for our cabins to be available The entire staff we encountered were friendly polite and cheerful The cabins were available as promised by 1;30 My husband and I were in a balcony stateroom 6173 near one of the sets of elevators The room was adequate and kept clean by our wonderful Cabin Steward ,Melencio ,who was pleasant and helpful The only drawback was a refrigerator was not in our room,but my Sisters exact same room type did have one so we were able to keep our wine chilled!!! The Sunshine is a very pretty ship but the pool is too small for the number of guests Chris our cruise director and his fun team were absolutely the best!!! If you didn't have a good time and find something to do it was your own fault The comedy club and production shows were very entertaining and talented We can't praise our Waitstaff in the Dining Room enough!!! Ernesto,Louis,and the young lady of the team(sorry I forgot your name) were professional,friendly talented and above accommodating The food was also very good!!

Our biggest complaint about the cruise was unsupervised children running in the halls talking loudly and knocking on everyones' cabin doors all hours of the night This is parents fault not Carnivals !!! The other issue was in the casino young children sitting at machines and having smoking and nonsmoking machines next to one another!! The Debarkation process went smoothly as long as people followed the instructions given to them the day before!! We used the Carnival transfer bus to return to the airport to board the shuttle back to Staybridge to our car This process also was well organized We did not book any excursions from the boat but did exploring on our own and with another couple we met on the cruise We are now talking about another cruise next year but haven't decided where we want to go This was our 3rd Cruise with Carnival and we have always been impressed with the staff's energy friendliness talent and helpfulness !!!
