We chose this cruise because it left out of Galveston. Embarkation was fast and easy, the cabin and service were 5 star. Very clean ship with friendly ,happy crew members. The comedians very very funny. The only shore excursion we did was 2 reef snorkeling in Nassau which was great! Now to why I gave this review 3 stars. We went to the dining room only one night because of the "floor show" in the middle of a nice dinner. Very loud music and napkin swinging and dancing like you would expect in a cheap diner. Soooooo loud couldn't hear yourself think. So went to the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This severely limited our vegetarian options at dinner so we ate a lot of salad. Lunch has vegetarian options at Tandoor(not for long, it is becoming seafood in Sept.)Blue Iguana, and Mongolian Wok at lunch. Breakfast was exactly the same all 7 days. So food was a disappointment for us especially at dinner. Another problem with food was from 2:30 - 6pm the only food available was the Deli. Pizza Pirate, and Guy's Burgers. This was very bad for the people coming back after being in port and being hungry. Lines were long and slow....heard 45 min for pizza at times. I have never seen so much soft serve eaten because of food lines. As a vegetarian we probably won't cruise with Carnival again.
