This was my birthday cruise chosen because it went to Bermuda, one of my favorite places. Also the itinerary included 2 nights and almost 3 full days in Bermuda, the longest of any cruise I have taken to Bermuda. We drove to the port from NC and stayed at the Town and Country Suites using the sleep, park, and ride option. Shuttle to and from the ship by the contracted shuttle company was smooth and efficient. Embarkation and disembarkation at Cape Liberty was the smoothest I have ever had. Crowd control was excellent and we moved on and off the ship with ease. Our cabin was 3064 and was adequate in size and storage. It was forward of center on the starboard side and was very quiet. I liked the night light in the bathroom which most of the newer ships have. This allows one to visit the facility in the middle of the night without turning on the bathroom light and waking your spouse up. Enforcement of the dress code in the main dining room is inconsistent. Most people in shorts were walked straight to their table. I only saw one person turned away for wearing a tank top. Either enforce the dress code or do away with it! We could not get our preferred traditional early dining seating arrangement this cruise so we decided to try out select dining. It was a disaster and we won't do that again. The first two nights were memorable for the very long lines waiting outside the dining room for seating--and we had reservations! Our reservation those two nights were for 5:30, but it was after 6pm before we were seated both nights. No reservations were available any night between 5:30 and 8pm so we usually opted for 8pm. The sign outside the entrance clearly stated those with reservations to one side and those without to the other side, but the staff consistently told people either side was ok causing further confusion. Aside from the long lines, the service and food was very good. We ate on night at the Tuscan Grill and the experience was very good, much like it used to be in the main dining room. Our food was excellent and the service was excellent! Entertainment in the main theater was outstanding. The Celebrity singers and dancers are very talented and gave 3 top notch performances plus two additional short productions in the Revelations Bar. Since we had been to Bermuda 3 times before, we did not take any shore excursions but did everything on our own using the 2-day ferry/bus pass. We spent the first day at the beach (Horseshoe Bay) and at Hamilton. The 2nd day at St Georges, the crystal caves, and Swizzle Inn. The 3rd day at the Kings Wharf and snorkel beach.

Ocean View 6

Cabin 06

Adequate size with enough storage space for the two of us. Not enough electric plugs plus none in the bathroom where we normally charge our electric toothbrush and electric razor.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Smoothest embarkation I've ever had!

King's Wharf

They've added some shops and attractions since our last visit. I don't recall having to pay $5 each to swim at Snorkel Bay but they do now.
