I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. Had seen several bad reviews, but made up my mind that I would have fun and I did.
The food, as a whole was very good to excellent. Even food on the Lido deck was good, better than previous cruises on other Carnival ships.
Typically ate breakfast and dinner in the dining room and lunch on the Lido deck. Always good service, but not always fast.

I was worried about having a cabin on the first deck, felt like I would be in a dungeon. Wrong! I liked it! Had a convenient cabin location, very close to elevators. And it didn’t seem like a dungeon at all.
A nice size cabin with a couch. Clean and comfortable. Steward’s name was I Ketut. He was excellent. Only problem with room was the shower curtain. No matter what I did or how hard I tried, still had a significant amount of water on the bathroom floor.
As far as cabin catagory goes and this review, my choices were Oceanview 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d. I chose 6b, but really don’t know if that is accurate, as I’m not sure what the a,b,c, d, or the 6 is referring to??

Very bumpy, rough ride. Stops were not so much sight seeing, but more souvenir shopping opportunities. I guess the main event was the beach break, it was nice, the buffet OK.
