I selected this cruise because my friends were already booked on it. This was a mistake because the ship was much much larger than I expected- I should have researched the ship more carefully. I hated the fact that we needed to use the lifts to get from floor to floor. This made me feel as though I was in a hotel. I hated the large Oceanview Restaurant where there was so much food on offer! I loved our evening Blu Restaurant. It was elegant and served the most wonderful food. The staff were so kind and caring. In fact all the staff on board were excellent. That was the saving grace of this trip!

I had hoped to hear interesting talks that would have enhanced the journey. However the talks were very poor —— no more than the showing of slides with someone reading notes!!

I joined in the dance classes and gym classes but there should have been much more especially when we had enforced days at sea. Read more
