We choose Norwegian and this route because of previous positive experiences. Unfortunately this time it was NOT the same. I will break down my cruise experience into the PROS and CONS:

PROS

* We started out our cruise from the beautiful port of Venice. We had arrived a couple of days earlier, which gave us the opportunity to break up the jet lag and also see the city entirely. Lovely city and will come back again.

Cabin O1

We were expecting two bunk beds coming out of the wall but only had one. The additional bed was underneath the main bed and was not as comfortable s the bunk bed.

Port Reviews

Venice

Beautiful city with lots of unique bars and restaurants. Loved the tour of the San Marco basilica.

Corfu

With two ships on the port it was extremely difficult to get a taxi. Locals are not as friendly as other destinations. You could probably spend the day at this ship while on this port.

Split

The Dolcetian Palace was impressive. The basement is interesting but not worth the 14 kunas per person they charge for it.

The public beaches nearby are good to refresh but they do not compare to the ones in Dubrovnik
