After having done approximately 20 cruises we wanted to try princess to Alaska. It was very disappointing. The food choices were lacking and quality was just ok. The ship has no ambiance and lacks any decor. Onboard activities were few and many were “commercially “ themed. Smoking places were few and not ventilated well. Casino was small.
Having said that the staff were friendly and the cabins were ok. Very good mattress but I believe most ships have that these days. Getting on and off was easy.
We won’t be cruising on princess again.

Mid ship location very good. Bed was very good. Cabin steward was very helpful and friendly.
