We've been on 13 cruises and this was the worst food experience we've ever had. The food was bad, frequently recycled for several meals. The coffee was cold and awful. The excursions were good--what could be wrong with Alaska? Comedian Carlos Oscar Singer Nathan Foley and the ship orchestra were all very good. The cruise director was least informative ever--never gave debarkation information for excursions, etc. The room service was bad--slow and cold. There were dirty dishes on the buffet line frequently. Water used to clean the tables was kept in dirty bucket on floor and used over and over. Service at all restaurants was slow and/or nonexistent. The captain made an announcement at 5:30 one morning only to come on shortly after to apologize and say he had the time wrong. Seriously? The train excursion broke down. Missed more than half of the trip. Had to complain to get refund--shouldn't that be automatic? And with apology? We booked thru Princess because we were assured that way we would get full service as promised. This will be our last Princess excursion. What a disappointment.
