Sail Date: Jun 2018

Having previously taken a Viking River Cruise in China and had a very positive experience we try - glad we did. The Viking Sun was the nicest ship we have sailed. Previously we have cruised on Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Renaissance (Tahiti and out of business) eight cruises in total.

This ship got it right in every respect. We ended up in a Junior Suite, cabin 6023. I was anxious that the location near the elevator may have been a problem, I called and was assured the cabins were almost sound proof - they were right. We had so much storage in terms of drawers that we did not even use them all. Lots of hanging space with a side for full length and another for full length.

The bathroom had double sinks and a large shower. Heated floors and towel rack which were too hot had to cut them off but there is a control. Adequate water pressure and plenty of hot water with great fixtures in the shower.
