We chose this cruise for the itinerary in Italy and Greek Isles. I reviewed many sites did lots of planning pre cruise. We did spend 4 days in beautiful Rome prior to the cruise and i would highly recommend this. We were first time cruisers but have done a significant amount of travelling.

First the ship. Lots of comments about the age of the Spirit. We were very pleasantly surprised and were not disappointed in anything. Embarktion went very smoothly and each day disembarktion was easy and well organized. Our balcony cabin was more than expected. Very clean and well attended daily by our room steward. Lots of room for the two of us and appropriate storage. We did take an over the door hanging organizer that i would highly recommend to keep things tidy and handy. We also took extra hangers and closepins to do a little hand washing over the 10 days.

I did use the gym a number of days while onboard and equipment was always available and in great shape. Fitness area was kepy very clean as well. Read more
