Have been on 9 previous Viking cruises. Wanted to do the Tulips and Windmill cruise. I think Viking is more focused on quantity rather than quality. If this had been our 1st Viking cruise, I would probably have rated it excellent. But after 8 or 9 previous cruises, it did not measure up to my expectations. The cruise director was below average. The guides were only acceptable. Service on board met our expectations but was not exceptional. This was the least favorite of our Viking cruises. We have had recent experience with AMA cruises and they are beating you on the same routes even though they may be slightly more expensive. I think Viking is giving more attention to their ocean cruises to the detriment of their river cruises which should be their bread and butter for the business model. Don’t lose track of what has made you successful. Thanks for listeny
