We embarked on our first class cruise to a lovely welcome by staff and were quickly ushered to our beautiful room. Our cabin steard, Jalena, explained the details of the room and continuously assisted us throughout the week with advice, kind words and an ever present smile. The food on the journey was wonderful. We had no complaints with any meals. Each of the ports were extremely interesting and tours were provided highlighting each city. Especially satisfying was the visit to a family's home outside Bratislava where we enjoyed an afternoon with the locals. What a nice touch! Embarking and Debarking were flaeless due to the efforts of Darren, the Cruise Director. The man never stops trying to ensure that everything runs smoothly throughout the week. He even arranged transportation to the airport for us two days after we left the ship! We would not hesitate to sail with Emerald again.
