MDR food selection terrible, especially for Jewish travelers, who should not eat seafood or pork products. And we don't notify ahead for a special menu, since when you mention "Jewish" or "Kosher" at the table, there are often folks who shun you, and not a few of them, especially the Israel-haters. Larger portions and wider variety on Carnival, Cunard and RCL past cruises. Excellent waiter couldn't overcome quality problem. Steak with gristle. Rubber pasta. No spinach salad entire cruise. Some very tiny desserts, but great apple pie.
Stateroom was quiet, but no towel animals, mini fridge empty until last day, $5.50 for a small bottle of water!
Wife and I are Elite from RCL diamond status. Captain's Club daily cocktail hour was 5 to 7 pm. Our Early Dinner time was at 5.30 pm at opposite end of ship every night, and you are not allowed to take drinks from the lounge. Thanks for nothing - more than a 15-minute race to finish one drink - if you had fast service. RCL starts at 4.30, and also puts three drinks on your card. Many other Elites complained to us about this, and of course, nobody could change the misrepresented early dining hour - documents say 6 pm, not 5.30, or set an earlier cocktail hour to 4.30.
Older cabin, but still very quiet, especially since it's ust steps from aft elevator.
