This cruise was actually a 7 day cruise not a 3 day. Departing in Barcelona and arriving back to Barcelona. This is a great city to begin or end a vacation in. Must see city that has So much to offer. The cruise port is easily accessible and right in the city. This cruise has a fantastic itinerary on a georgous mega ship! The boarding process was smooth & efficient. The mini suite spa room meet all expectations. The location was also extremely convenient to the spa which is well worth paying the charge to utilize. The steam rooms, saunas, and gigantic jacuzzi with massaging waters falls, jets, and beds were beyond relaxing. There are also heated beds to take a nap or grab a bed or lounge chair on the balcony and watch an amazing sunset with unobstructed views from the back of the ship’s private spa balcony. You also have great views from multiple sauna rooms with glass windows to the water. The fitness center is multiple levels and rivals a gym you’d pay a membership fee for. It’s massive!!! It has all the equipment from various weight & cardio machines, to punching bags, to yoga rooms, spinning classes etc you’d ever need. The casino is very large and offers all varieties of gambling which I spent my fare share of time in! Biggest ship casino I’ve seen and the staff their is very friendly and engaging. The entertainment on board this heavenly vessel was simply magical! The Cirque Dream show is an additional charge but I HIGHLY recommend it. Don’t miss this show as you’ll be very disappointed as the performers are world class. I also had the pleasure of seeing the show Priscilla Queen of the Desert which is complimentary and equally as impressive to the music, dancing, and performances. Kudos to all those performers and the supporting cast behind the scenes to enable all those wardrobe changes etc! Do yourselves a favor and make time to enjoy this one evening! I indulged in the drink package which is well worth it for someone who enjoys having numerous adult beverages. Their are endless bars around the ship to explore and the service was always prompt. I am a cigar lover and used the cigar lounge multiple times which was conviently located to the bars and casino. The weather was A+ for the entire trip which made the pool deck a great place to relax, mingle and have cocktails. I am a lover of the Norwegian freestyle dining which truely embodies a vacation mindset! Only way to cruise is with freestyle style options! It’s amazing when your on a week long cruise and you return never having a bad meal! Kudos to the entire ships restaurants. We ate everywhere from Cagneys, to the Manhattan, to the buffet and the selections, service, and quality were 5 Star! Norwegian truely has the best food in the industry. I had the pleasure to see the Haven and enjoy a meal there and it’s an area that is worth spending a little extra money to get a lot more of an experience. If you want to spoil yourselves you must be in the Haven. The cleanliness of the ship is remarkable given its size and the vast amount of passengers but and it always looked showtime ready. We spent several nights at the the night club Dazzals drinking & dancing and the bar waiter Oliver was always very attentive and true pleasure to interact with! There are several neat things such as the Svedka Ice Bar, bowling, rock climbing, water slides, comedy shows, shopping etc so there is plenty of things to do. Special acknowledgement to the Hotel Director Nelson who is the ultimate professional and a remarkable human being! Nelson and his entire team aboard the Epic make dreams come true. They have the inate ability to make everyone feel special. Nelson is extremely visible throughout the ship and very hands on ensuring operational excellence! We had the pleasure to meet Agatha who works closely with Nelson and she was very accommodating on every need or desire we had. Agatha went above and beyond to ensure this was a memorable voyage! Nelson, Agatha, & the entire Epic staff made us feel like true royalty and went above and beyond in true Norwegian style to make this cruise a remarkable experience! Well done Epic and I look forward to my next trip!
