We have wanted to visit Alaska & particularly Glacier Bay National Park for years. Your limited in choices because the National Park Service only allows a few Ships to enter Glacier Bay. We chose the Norwegian Pearl. It’s a very beautiful ship, clean & neatly kept. The crew & staff are very polite & nice. They are strong believers of hygiene. Every place to eat entrance is manned by a crew to spray your hands with antibacterial gel when you enter. Make sure you visit Carney’s Steakhouse on the ship. Excellent food! Be weary of the excursions like The Tram & White Pass Railways. Overpriced & not worth the time & money. The Eagle Lighthouse is very good. Read reviews & ask questions. That was we didn’t do & regret it. I can’t wait to go back. This time on the Norwegian Bliss. If you decide to go on this cruise everyone says go in late July thru August when the salmon are spawning. See lots of wildlife then. Don’t see much in May.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BC

Loved the large balcony. Big bathroom. Had a shower with high water pressure & a chair to sit down on and wash. Single beds that push together for a queen size, that did move in the night with body movements causing a gap but other than that. We loved our room.

Port Reviews

Victoria

Victoria has a nice port with a long pier to walk. Other than that. Overpriced but typical Canadian.
