We took my 18 year old son and 10 of his senior classmates on The Carnival Valor May 10th 4 day cruise to Cozumel Mexico out of Galveston Texas for their Senior Trip.

The Carnival Valor was the best choice of ships because 1) We live in Texas and the port is 4 hours away 2)The trip was only 4 days and one Port 3)The cruise, for the most part is inexpensive

I will say from an 18 year old point of view is that they had a blast. Some of the students said 10 out of 10. My son had a blast, but has cruised before and knew that this ship was not as nice as the one he has been on (RCI FOS) Being with his friends was priceless for him though.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6B

We were placed on Deck One. We were assigned Ocean View with a window. This cabin is fine. No issues. Our Seniors were across the hall in inside cabins and were happy as ever. Siregar was our attendant and he was friendly and so kind. The only issue I had was knowing which way to go when I got off the elevator. The signs that Carnival uses actually are arrows, but you have to look very close to figure that out. I got turned around a lot. I could not tell which way was forward and which way was AFT.
