The ship is american hero theme in decor but there are non american references to the idea of valor as well. I don't know where Scarlett Ohara fits in valor. The exterior public exteriors are art deco a throwback to classical cruise ships. There are movies every night on Lido deck. Bingo is ridiculous $5,$20,$30 per game. You can drop almost $100 per session and there are 2 a day. I stayed away from the casino on deck 5. There are a multitude of raffles held to get you to buy things but very few winners. Spa was free to sauna and steam and a quiet cool place to read. The "discount spa services" are a setup for a timeshare presentation of high dollar beauty treatments. Playbill revue shows were entertaining as were comedians.

There are children everywhere crying in the room next door, at the pools, in the dining room and at adult venues after 10pm having meltdowns even though they offer after hours childrens programs.

The best food is in the dining room. I had your time dining; so I could eat at different times. I find eating early avoids the loud rowdy drinkers. Avoid the pizza at all cost the only time I felt ill was after the pizza. The burgers and tacos are good but only available 12pm to 6pm.

Cabin 8E

I don't know how people sleep 4 to a cabin. I was claustraphobic with my teenage son less than foot away from me. Beds are quasi air mattress for increased comfort. There are like 6 regular channels so I recommend a laptop and or HDMI cable. The screen size is about the same. Bathroom is small and the toilet inefficent. Bring deodorizing for entire ship.
