We were traveling with a group of 17 most from Illinois. Getting to Galveston was a little rough (long story lets just say Air Tran needs some work on their customer service). We used Karr Limo service to get from Houston to Galveston, they did a great job even though we were a day late. Embarkation went smoothly we arrived at 12:30 and were on board in an 1/2 hour. Upon boarding we noticed the VOS looked good. She had a face-lift this past spring, she looks refreshed, shiny and pretty. The weather was not great on our first day, but RCI had plenty of stuff to keep us all busy. ENTERTAINMENT: The first nights entertainment was the comedy of Kelly McDonald. We gave him 3 stars out of 5. Not great some of the same old cruise comedy you hear a lot. There was also a parade that night in the Royal Promenade...lets just say don't make an effort to see this. (Lame) The second night was The Texas Tenors. Heard they were good. There was also an Ice Odyssey Show, it was very good definitely worth seeing. Marina Karamysheva was the guest star. Wow she was great. The third day was Cozumel were the weather was still not great all water excursion were cancelled. The show for the night was a Broadway Rhythm & Rhyme. It was good. Later that evening there was a "Adult" comedy with with Kelly McDonald lets just say anyone over 10yrs of age could have attended. The 4th night they redid the Ice Show and had the Love and Marriage Game Show. The 5th night was Music in Motion with the dancers and singers. The Quest game which is always fun. The 6th night Scott Record did a Impressionist act. The 7th night was a juggling act by Jeff Traveggia once again I would give 3 out of 5 stars. Through out the week there was a Karaoke contest and some very good singers.

SERVICE: Our room attendant Rick Grant did a nice job without being intrusive. We had the second seating in the Carmen Dinning Room. Our dinning room waiter Valentin Miu was wonderful. His assistant Sofiane was also very good. Valentin was professional yet fun and we all learned his recommendations were good choices. We all wanted to bring them home with us.
