We went on the Freedom of the Seas 8 night Eastern Caribbean cruise. Was a thank you cruise from my son for my wife and I and our new in-laws. He got married last year and wanted to thank us for our support. I admit going into the cruise I had my doubts about a ship that had almost 4000 passengers. I was very impressed they could easily handle all these passengers. Only real lines we ended up waiting in were disembarking the ship both on the ports of call and at the end of the cruise.

No waiting for the meals , no fighting for deck chairs and no waiting for a drinks at the bars. They handled the crowds quite nicely. If you like your alcohol, like I do, the drink package was well worth it. The wine alone we had at dinner almost made up for the drink package costs, be sure to get the wine by the glass!

St. Kitts was a nice friendly island, we did the rail and sail. Great tour of the island.

Cabin Review

Cabin D3-8696 Superior Ocean View Strm w/Bal

Cabin was great, plenty of room Balcony was great for morning coffee and late night relaxing. Lots of storage space, shower a bit small but it is a cruise ship. can't say enough about our Cabin attendant Wilma. She was great and really helped make the vacation comfortable
