My son was on spring break so the two of decided to go on a cruise. We had a great experience. The ship was clean and in good working order, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed that while a larger ship around 3400 passengers, it was not a mega ship. We like that we did not need advance reservations for anything (except the Flowrider) thus did not require any preplanning from us but the ship was big enough to have a wide variety of activities.
Our cabin was clean and plenty of room for 2 and a cabin steward was very friendly and accommodated all my requests.
We had a minor issue with dining (can't say Royals fault), we had the traditional dining late seating and were at a table with 6 other people. We had wanted a table for 2 (not sure travel agent requested) but they could not accommodate us. They told us no room to switch to my time dining either (which I was not sure true) but we upgraded to specialty dining and they gave us a reduced price. Food was excellent in the specialty dining rooms.
The cabin was clean and plenty of room for 2 people. The room was aft which I preffered as very little foot traffic near our room thus quiet. Everything was in working order and our cabin steward was very attentive and friendly.
