we booked a haven cabin to get away from the heard but our cabin was in the aft section 2,000 ft from the other haven cabins and all the private amenities , restaurant , bars , pool , concierge and etc. this was just the start of a bad situation . The haven cabins and all cabins from what I understand have a horrible layout. Absolutely no privacy between the bath and toilet area except a thin curtain . You can hear and smell everything that goes on only a few feet from the bed, terrible planning I can`t realize who would have thought this was a good idea . Also the shower was a garden tub with a two ft step over , not good for seniors ! these cabins need to be blown up and start over. We took several day long shore excursions and needed sleep but our cabin was placed right below an outdoor deck with a loud rap noise party til 1am each night . We complained about this but nothing changed . We dined in three specialty restaurants , only cagneys was worth the extra fee. In the Le Bistro , ordered a steak , over cooked took 20 minutes to get another one in the meanwhile my wife had finished her meal . To top it off a bowling ally was directly over the restaurant and they allowed bowling during evening dinner hours , we hear crash , boom , bang all through our not so good meal, unbelievable !!The sever apologized and gave us a bottle of wine which we don`t drink and left it in our cabin. I liked the layout of the common areas of the ship and the staff was great but overall I would stay away from this ship until a lot of changes are made.
