Chose cruise for ports of call. I wanted to like this ship. I wanted to like Carnival (I've only sailed on Royal Caribbean). The ship wasn't exactly clean and a little 'beat up' for a newer vessel.

For the first time, my luggage was lost. I was instructed to go to customer service and try to find it. It was there. Here's a thought: when your Carnival tag gets torn off in transit, try looking at the name card in the side pocket of the suitcase or the bright green name tag wrapped in Velcro around the handle, figure out which cabin I'm in and deliver it.

The cabin, an ocean suite, was fair and the attendant did a fine job. The wind whistled through the door all night and the bathtub/shower was...worn. Read more
