Our first cruise was aboard the Carnival Valor and, as first time cruisers, we weren't sure what to expect. However, the experience made us eagerly look forward to our next cruise. Our second cruise was aboard Carnival Freedom. Both the embarkation and debarkation process went very smoothly. The ship and our stateroom were comfortable and the crew members that we interacted with were friendly, attentive, and professional. So, when the time came to book another cruise, we chose Carnival again for our second cruise, which has made us become confirmed Cruise Addicts. I can't understand some of the negative reviews that Carnival gets from some folks but, I suspect that there's just no pleasing some of these reviewers. It's been my experience that you need to be openminded and flexible when traveling, especially in new or different environments and we've thoroughly enjoyed all of our travels. We've been to Italy, Japan, South Korea, Guam, Honduras, Belize, Mexico, and Hawaii. Each place had something great to offer because we kept an open mind and stayed open to new experiences.

Cabin 4E

Our cabin was comfortable and adequate for our needs since we preferred to spend our vacation time enjoying the activities offered aboard ship and on shore at each Port of Call, rather than spend valuable vacation time indoors. Our Stateroom Steward, Harvey, was friendly, attentive and professional throughout our 7-day cruise aboard the Carnival Freedom.
