We Loved our Viking River Cruise in Germany on the Elbe river. When the anouncment of the ocean cruise vessels with less than 1000 passengers became available it was an allure we had to try. The Viking Sky is a beautiful ship with spacious cabins including a veranda, and great dining variety with attention to individual dietary needs. The service of all staff in all areas were excellent. Shore personnel were informative and enthusiastic. Self laundry available with washing supplies free, great for packing less. One of our overall favorite activities was the lectures given by experienced professionals on topics from climate change, space exploration and the world of our whales and dolphins. The port talks are interesting and informative down to the latest expected whether conditions. You will totally enjoy the entertainment they as talented as any we have seen on Broadway from Opera to ABBA.

All in all our travel embarkation and disembarkation was flawless. We did not travel with children nor did we see any on board. This was the perfect adult journey we for looking forward too. We had a wonderful time even during the rain.
