My wife & I wanted to sample the Caribbean on a relatively small ship with amenities for adults. We chose this cruise because the ship was new & our experience on Viking river cruises had been exemplary. Viking personnel guided us from the airport upon arrival to the airport for departure. They pay attention to details on & off the ship.

Once onboard, the ship was beautiful, the staff (one crew to every two guest) very friendly, & our cabin was extremely comfortable. We had a private veranda & a fully equipped minibar that was included in our fee. Our cabin was cleaned & spruced up twice each day.

When cruising, the emphasis is on board travel. Viking makes sure you have something for every interest. There are presentations by experts on relative topics, movies both in room & in theater, live shows specific to destinations, & multiple choices for activities at each port of call. And, yes, the food is diverse & wonderful. There were multiple restaurants on board with different cuisine. Each has different dress criteria but none require coat, tie, nor gown.
