This was our 7th Princess cruise and as always we truly enjoyed our time on the lovely Regal Princess. We arrived the day before and stayed at the lovely Casa Pellagrino hotel on Hollywood Beach. We actually rented a car at Miami airport and then turned it in the next day at Port Everglades, saving a lot of money over shuttles or cabs, plus it allowed us to drive around a bit.

Headed over to the port around 11 a.m. on Sunday and as Platinum members quickly rolled through the embarking process and were in our cabin by 11:45. We had lunch at Alfredo's as we usually do and I purchased my pass for the Thermal Spa for the week (I spend about 2 hours each day there).

Our cabin was on the Lido deck as usual and we also were participating in the new Medallion service (for us that was not a big deal, it opened the door locks and did allow more of the staff to know us by name but we really didn't take advantage of much else). We love being on Lido for its convenience to the activity area, Horizon court and pool bars.

Balcony

Cabin BE

Love the balcony cabins on the Lido deck, which puts you right in the heart of the upper deck fun and eating. The cabin is laid out very well and is very useful for the its size. Balcony is great.
