Coming from Hawaii I wanted to see as much of Europe as I could and I like the idea of unpacking one time. The smoothness of the river journey made the trip even more enjoyable. When we on board we didn't even know we were moving. Except for the stunning scenery passing by. Visiting the towns, castles and countryside were exhilarating. The meals on the boat were exceptional. It made coming home and having to cook painful. LOL We were very impressed with the crew. Working with the public is not easy, but the Viking crew was delightful. They were always so friendly, helpful and personable. We stayed on the second level and since we were not in our cabin that often it served its purpose. Mainly sleeping. I was totally amazed at the cleanliness of the boat at all times. We really had to schedule time for the various activities on board. Like the glass blowing demonstration. All the activities on board were well Every time we reached a new port we were amazed at how easy the disembarkation and embarkation went. Even when we had to pass over another ship.
