We chose this cruise because we were able to see so many beautiful cities and travel down three rivers in a relatively short amount of time. Additionally, most excursions were included--which is not the case on most cruises, and the excursions were wonderful! Since the ship was small, in most cases we were within walking distance between our ship and our destinations, which made it easy to go back and forth between the port and our ship. Buses and shuttles were also included, so we didn't have to worry about getting lost or left behind.

Since the ship was designed for only 190 passengers and 50 crew members, we got to know most of our fellow passengers and crew very easily. Having less passengers also meant that we never had to stand in line for meals or wait for seating. The crew was outstanding...catering to all of our needs. We ate gourmet meals with most drinks included.

Our cruise director was outstanding--presenting informative programs, demonstrations, and small scale entertainment, which made the whole experience more personal and enjoyable.

Cabin Review

French Balcony

Cabin D

We, very much, enjoyed the French Balcony. We were able to open our sliding door and felt very comfortable in our room. Although the room was small, the design maximized the comfort level. My husband is 6'4" and he enjoyed the room, as well.

Housekeeping kept our room spotless! We were very pleased.

Port Reviews

Wurzburg

The tour of the Wurzburg's Bishops' Residenz was amazing! You walk the stairways where Napoleon walked! The ceilings and frescos were beautiful.

Amsterdam

We only had the afternoon in Amsterdam, but the excursion provided us with a nice overview of the city.

Bamberg

We learned a lot about the city's beer making history. It was a very quaint city.

Nuremberg

The included Nuremberg through History was a great deal more than I expected. The bus took us past the medieval walled city and we saw the arena where the Nazi rallies were held--just amazing. The town square, with its Gothic fountain and animated clock, made the excursion very worthwhile.

Regensburg

The tour was wonderful; the city beautiful. We had time to explore and return to our ship, which was great!

Melk

Beautiful abbey and grounds. The view was incredible.

Vienna

The guides showed us so many wonderful areas in Vienna. They highlighted the architecture, history and beauty of the city. It was great.
