Sail Date: Dec 2017
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

I chose this cruise because of the itinerary to Mexico and Belize and also because it sailed from Tampa. The ship is old and somewhat run down. There was a strange odor outside our stateroom, perhaps dirty carpet. The food was excellent and our cabin was spacious. Our balcony was awesome! We were at the very back of the ship and had an extended balcony. The staff was friendly.

What ruined our trip was our shore excursion to Chichen Itza. RCCL offers this out of Cozumel. DO NOT book this excursion unless you want to throw away money and waste a whole day. We had a 5 hour (round trip) bus ride, not including the ferry to Playa del Carmen. Once we got to the site, we had less than 30 minutes. Our tour guide was not understandable or informative. The shore excursion attendant on the ship had the audacity to say that they didn't recommend this tour! ( I purchased it from Royal Caribbean)

I hope that someone will read this ahead of time and not do what we did....most of the reviews about tours of Chichen Itza are 5 star and maybe with another ship that is true but NOT withe Rhapsody.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Very spacious with awesome oversized balcony. The cabin was right over a lounge but I only heard music on one evening and it wasn't bad.

Port Reviews

Belize City

Did our own snorkeling trip to Goff's Caye. Nice.

Costa Maya

Went to the beach in the little fishing village. Nice.
