Chose cruise based on price and closer to us than driving down to south Florida.

Switched us from our confirmed main seating dining to late dining without us knowing until we got seapass cards to board, and we are Diamond Plus members. My time dining staff seemed very unorganized and inexperienced. Slow service and several occasions didn't get items ordered or had to ask several times to get them. Bread baskets left on tables from one guest sitting to the next without changing them several times, and most of the time when entering dining room bread baskets on tables were not even covered as everyone walks by the tables. During drills for crew one day came to our floor which was part of the drill and several crew members were standing there and not even on the right side of the ship .... glad we didn't have any emergencies. Bar staff and photo staff not very friendly at all , seemed more like a bother at times to purchase things. Stateroom showers didn't have much warm water for showers first day and a half. Ship could use some painting on outside areas a lot of visible rust on balcony areas and glass never once cleaned so had to stand if you wanted to see anything while on balcony. Worst was the departure procedure very disorganized and the terminal that was supposedly built by RCCL we heard was way to small to get people off, had hundreds of people lined up around dining room in lines to exit ship and then stopped in terminal to wait again as they were only allowing couple dozen people at a time to exit due to big backups. Had sailed on Brilliance of the Seas 4 or so years ago and had bad dining experiences then, along with not so friendly staff. Would encourage people to not judge RCCL by this ship if it is there first time. Also lounge areas for upper tier Crown and Anchor members very overcrowded, and company should be more strict on enforcing dress code for concierge club with kids coming in dressed however. Main bright spot was cruise director Jimmie Rhodes whom we had sailed with on the Oasis earlier this year --great energy and personality. Think twice before booking this ship , a lot of better ships with RCCL out there.

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

About average for most ships , minus the fact there wasn't much hot water for first day and a half.
