We chose this cruise because it was a convenient embarkation location closer to us than Miami. Embarkation for us (Platinum members) was smooth and fast, but for most the lines were snaked back and forth about 4 times. The bulk of the entertainment took place in the Centrum area. It was entirely inadequate. There was seating for 25 people at most. Everyone else had to stand uncomfortably to struggle to see the entertainment. The Windjammer menu seemed repetitive for breakfast and lunch and the food was average at best. Dinner selections were limited. The Royal shrimp cocktail was made with minuscule shrimp, probably 40-50 count shrimp. The bright spot was the crew who were friendly, competent, and attentive. The ship was filled beyond the published passenger capacity, and it showed since finding a seat almost anywhere was difficult. Next time I will travel farther to use a bigger RCCL ship or more likely, a different cruise line.
