We sailed on the Norwegian Escape for Thanksgiving week. We were so excited for this cruise and some good family time. Unfortunately, we chose the wrong cruise. The staff was unwelcoming and down right rude. Our room attendant was unfriendly and did not even greet us when we passed him in the hall. The room was not cleaned and we had to call housekeeping to find out where our steward was. And when he did clean the room, he always forget to bring towels. The shower was clogged and flooded the entire bathroom. The beds were extremely uncomfortable.

Tried to relax by the pool, but they played the music and TV so loud you could not relax or have a conversation without screaming. Had to get up and get our own drinks because there was no bartender in sight! They played the same Jimmy Buffet music tape and video every single day. One member of the staff that worked the slides, disrespected my daughter saying that they should date and have babies together Making her feel nervous and uncomfortable.

The food was horrendous and the service was terrible. NO ONE spoke English and they did not understand us and we did not understand them. We ate at four different specialty restaurants as well as the buffet and Main dining rooms. Same experience in every restaurant. The presentation was good but the taste was terrible. Read more
