We wanted to see Rome and take a transatlantic cruise. Well, we saw Rome. Traffic is terrible. Remember the old saying, "when in Rome do as the Romans". Well, if we drove like the Italians insurance rates would be astronomical. Bumper to bumper, stop light to stop light.

Took excursions to skip the line, Sistine Chapel. Must walk 1/2 mile to enter and then steps, steps, and more steps. Definitely not for old or infirmed.

Rome at night was great. Saw many wonderful sights that are usually too full during the day. Saw Spanish Steps, Tivoli Fountain, Pantheon. Had a meal that was incredible and the gelato is to die for.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

The only good thing about the room was room attendant. Purchased balcony room, hoping there would be room to move around. Wrong. The room seemed no bigger than inside room. Bathroom divided into 3 sections, shower with closing door, toilet with closing door and not enough sink space for 2 people. Had to slide into the bathroom stall to use the toilet. 1 side of twin beds pushed together was next to the wall with just enough room to place nightstand. Otherside, had sofa or bed for children if needed. The balcony was just enough room for 2 chairs and a small table.
