We chose Norwegian Cruise Lines because we cruised with them before and loved the service, food, activities and entertainment. I am not as fond of the "Freestyle " dining. I do like having a set time for my meals and sit at the same table with other people that have similar careers/and of interests. This is a more luxury vacation than show up whenever or having a meal plan. The food on the cruise in general was always fresh, delicious and plentiful. The shows and activities were entertaining and kept your interest. The ports on the cruise were quaint and historic but the shore excursion charges were more than double when booked on board. We went on some of the same excursions for a fraction of the price and in one port even rented a car for 1/4 of the price. Our overall experience was amazing and we are already planning our next cruise.
The cabin was always clean. We always had enough clean towel .Although space was tight, we made it work and
We rented a car and drove around Halifax to Peggy's Cove and other scenic places.
