We know Princess, as we just entered Platinum Status (6th -15 th Cruise). Service is quite good. We liked many of the ports of call. Food was, ironically, better in the Horizon Buffet. We tried the Main Dining room and were twice disappointed in menu options and in size of portions. Sometimes we awoke hungry after midnight, weird. Escargots Bourgogne was a memorable dish. Some of the fish entrees were over cooked, with little or no sauce. Beware.

The Crown Grill was a good dinner choice, with great appetizer and dessert choices.

Our service staff was fantastic. I was surprised our bed had no top sheet. When I asked our steward, he found something to suffice.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

It was a bit tight and we are not large people. Bathroom size is smallish, too.

Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Just chilling to get over jet lag. A great stay and breakfast at Hotel Hiberia. The cappuccino and croissants put me in a cheery mood.

Toulon

We toured to Aix en Provence. It was attractive and delightful. One can get a bit disoriented when dropped off by bus at the circle. Take pictures or make notes to stay focused on getting to the right place (if you want a special shopping or food item-) to reconnect at the right time with your group. We wished we had more time at Aix. Getting there by bus from Toulon takes some hours.

Barcelona

Barcelona is fun and bustling. Beware of beggars and pickpockets. The demonstrators slowed us down with our tourbus. Streets were closed off, so traffic crawled at some points near downtown.
