We have always wished to visit St. Petersburg, and we are famiiar with Viking Cruises marvelous reputation !! Coupled with friends' experience last year on this same cruise, it was a must-do for us! The ship was absolutely gorgeous - and how we enjoyed watching all its maneuvers from our veranda every day! The cabin space was perfect - and it was so awesome to only unpack and pack once! The spaces on the ship were beautifully organized for best usage and the decor & design was beautifully subdued - acolades to those who accomplished this feat!! Entertainment and actifvities were perfect -- something for everybody, and we did not feel compelled to have to do every activity all the time. The pools were marvelous, the Star Theater talks and performances were perfect, and the music professionally played throughout the cruise was perfectly lovely !

Dining was one of the fine treats of the cruise - marvelously succulent food beautifully prepared every meal was amazing! I know everybody on the ship gained a few pounds! The variety was marvelous and beautifully presented !!

We can't say enough wonderfully kind things about the service at every turn. The staff couldn't have been more marvelous - so solicitous of our comfort and always with a smile and kind greeting! We loved chatting with them all, about the countries they are from and their families! What a joy! Read more
