Because the places sounded interesting and exciting and it came with inclusive drinks package and gratuities and although we are not heavy drinkers all the drinks including soft drinks can soon mount up. We started and ended our cruise in Venice and had fun exploring the city. The whole experience with Norwegian Star was excellent from start to finish. The food was really top notch and all the wines and spirits were of good quality. Our cabin was really comfortable and spotless with a really large and comfy bed with dressing gowns and an excellent steward who left towel sculptures each night on the bed. The ship was always clean everywhere we went. The shows with the dancers and singers were really professional but we did not go and see the magician or contortionist as it was not our kind of entertainment. There was entertainment in other venues which were really good especially the pianist and singer in the Gatesby Lounge called Felicia her voice was phenomenal.

The places we visited were brilliant and we especially loved Dubrovnik, Split and Kotor.

We wold d definitely go on the Norwegian cruise line again.
