This was our first cruise with Scenic. Their arrangements before, during and after the cruise were excellent. Everything which was under their immediate control worked superbly - Scenic cannot be blamed for the fact that there issues with the locks on the Strasburg to Basle section.

The Scenic Opal is a beautifull well appointed ship, the food is very good and the service even better.Cabins are reasonably spacious and certainly way better than just adequate.

The organised trips were extremely well guided with knowledgeable local guides who were well versed in their subjects and, because they were obviously experienced, made their guides both informative and entertaining. Talking of entertaining, the varied programme of evening entertainment in the ship's lounge was really good. Read more
