Great cruise out of New York harbor. Was fun to spend the day before in NYC as had not been there in a long time. Embarkation was easy and fast, pleasant staff at the port. The ship is very large and really pretty. We really liked our balcony room (Room 13212). True, the balcony was a bit smaller than on other ships, but fine for sitting out and relaxing. Great view of Manhattan, NJ and the Statue of Liberty sailing out of NYC. Cabin steward "Nurma" was great, kept the room clean and ice stocked. Everyone we interacted with on the crew were great, very friendly and good attitudes. We enjoyed the specialty restaurants, Cagneys, Moderno, La Cucina and Le Bistro, all had excellent food and service. Also enjoyed Manhattan restaurant for dinner, food was good and again, very good service. Only went to the buffet once for breakfast, and it was fine, just crowded. The only drawback from other cruises I've been on is that Taste and Savor had the same menu every day for lunch...seems like they could have offered a few additional entrees to mix things up. Getting off the ship was also fine. There was a big line to exit, but they had it well laid out to stop people from trying to cut in front, and the line actually moved pretty quickly. Bermuda was beautiful and there is a lot to do, so definitely plan on doing this again. The "Restless Native" catamaran group was great for a snorkel trip. Also easy to get around the island via ferry and the bus system. In fact, NCL offered a free ferry over to St. Georges which was great. Excellent cruise and I would highly recommend.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

Very nice cabin. Very quiet, except for the slamming of doors. I think they were the crew doors as it would be around the time the crew would start their cleaning of the rooms in the morning or evening...otherwise, very quiet. Did not hear any noise from neighbors or from any other parts of the ship. Room is a good size and excellent bathroom size and layout. Bed was really comfortable. Recommend this balcony cabin.
