The Breakaway is an awesome ship. My husband and I stayed in The Haven for a second time and we just love it. You are treated with such care that you never want to leave! The food and service are both top notch. Everyone from the concierge, the butler, the wait staff all provided exemplary service. It was my birthday and the crew decorated our cabin as a surprise and brought in several birthday cakes, cupcakes and thoughtful note cards to surprise me!! How delightful!!

One day I commented to the concierge's assistant that I had wanted the fondue for 2 in one of the specialty restaurants but didn't get it. Upon returned to our cabin that evening, she had had it delivered!! The woman who seated us for our meals in The Haven every day knew our room number by heart after our very first visit. It is the little things like this that make a cruise vacation truly memorable. Kudos to Norwegian for hiring/training the very best people in customer service who go above and beyond expectations.

Embarkation/Debark both went very smoothly. As a Haven guest, you are escorted to your room and escorted off the ship as well. Our cabin was clean, however, there was a strange odor upon entering and when we mentioned it to the room steward, he had the carpeting cleaned and dried immediately. Lovely to have our very own restaurant just for Haven guests. The food was delicious and they are very accommodating for special dietary requests.
